Since its start in 2018, AFWNA Fashion Show originated in Seattle, Washington, where Founder/CEO Patricia Tsakou wanted to create an avenue for people to engage and learn more about African cultural designs and print.

African Fashion Week North America (AFWNA) Is the World most culturally diverse gathering featuring Africans and African Descendants who aim to connect to their roots, and discover their heritage.

My Mission

My Mission is to build stronger communities in the African diaspora by working with partners to address emerging needs and help all African descent feel at home in an Inclusive American society.

My Vision

My Vision is to make America an even better place to live for African descents, African immigrants, Caribbean immigrants and refugees. We do so by promoting unity and leadership amongst people of African descent.
